Workshop Cancellation Policy

If you cancel for reasons other than COVID-19, our standard cancellation terms apply:-

For bookings cancelled more than 28 days in advance, a FULL refund will be given.
For cancellations made 14 days in advance, the full cost of the workshop can be credited to a new booking date or a gift voucher.
Non COVID-19 cancellations will NOT be given refunds or credit within one week of the booked start date except when the Met Office issue a severe weather warning. If snow and / or ice make roads unsafe, we will happily reschedule your course and in this case, if you have booked for a One Day Workshop, the only charge will be for any lunch that has already been bought for you and which won’t keep. This will be no more than £5 per person.
If GlassAlisa is forced to cancel your workshop, a FULL refund will be given.

Health & safety policy and disclaimer

For your safety, you are required to read this information before participating in this workshop. The workshop is about having fun and learning a new skill, but it’s also about staying safe.

Due to the nature of working with glass and other materials, some safety precautions are necessary, particularly with regard to cutting and handling glass. It is your Tutor’s responsibility to deliver the appropriate safety information and provide PPE where appropriate and it is the Student’s responsibility to follow that advice and instruction. Please be assured that every precaution has been taken to ensure your safety during your session. The workshop is fully risk-assessed. Any student who refuses to follow the appropriate safety advice causing a risk to themselves or others will be asked to leave. Alcohol consumption is NOT permitted during the workshop.
